EXPLORE OUR BEAUTIFUL COASTAL VILLAGE

BF5E2B46-2E12-4D18-B77A-708075EA824A.png

Welcome to  Innsaei  Guesthouse ~  boutique lodging and dining on the coast of Maine.

On the coast of Maine in charming downtown Damariscotta, perhaps a strong-arm shell throw from the banks of the Damariscotta River, stands the historic Gilbert Gay building. This main street icon was built in the 1800's from brick made from clay found on the banks of this briny, oyster loving river.

Originally a turn of the century market, the building is now the keeper of stories for many generations of Maine life.

Stay with us and enjoy one of three spacious guest apartments reimagined with attention to detail and respect for the buildings inherent  historic charm. Appointed with comfort in mind, each with appealing decor with a unique vintage style , each with a story to tell.

Guests of Innsaei may enjoy our first floor restaurant featuring local seafood , house made pastas and loads of Maine hospitality.

We are currently adding the finishing touches to our guestrooms ~ panoramic pictures are coming soon!

Reservations are currently available for the 2024 season!
